NX Horizon Low Carbon

Industry’s first solar tracker solution with up to 35% reduced carbon footprint

Offering low carbon technology solutions and sustainable supply chain initiatives to drive a clean energy future is central to our mission. Initially available in the US market, our NX Horizon™ solar tracker system is offered with up to 35% reduced carbon footprint— with locally sourced materials and sustainably produced electric arc furnace (EAF) steel. Third-party verified Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) methodology provides our customers with documentation on carbon footprint and other environmental benefits of our products through the entire lifecycle.

Implementation of Third-Party Verified Life Cycle Assessment (LCA)

Nextracker provides LCA documentation with verified methodology on data collection, evaluation and reporting throughout the lifecycle of our solar trackers. This way customers can understand the environmental impact of our products on their business including reductions in carbon footprint, land use, water consumption and several other metrics.

By sourcing our steel from mills that use recycled steel and EAF processes powered by electricity instead of traditional methods that use iron ore and coal, we are able to significantly reduce the carbon footprint of our products.
