Nextracker achieves significant milestone in the middle east with a new 1 GW project win

When Saudia Arabia keeps going solar, you know our industry in making great progress! Nextracker Inc. has achieved another significant milestone in the middle east with a new 1 GW project win in KSA in partnership with valued customers ACWA Power and L&T POWER.

This is also noteworthy as the largest single location project for our all-terrain NX Horizon XTR tracker. First delivered in 2019 and proven on dozens of utility scale projects around the world, NX Horizon-XTR significantly eliminates cut-and-fill earthworks by conforming to the natural land contours, reducing pier lengths and lowering the environmental impact.

NXT has been supporting reliable performance of solar projects in KSA for over 6 years, starting with the first major utility scale project, the 405 MW Sakaka project, shipped in 2018. Nextracker has intensified its domestic content and manufacturing program in the Middle East, collaborating with local partners to ensure the supply of critical components for its solar trackers. This not only supports the region’s renewable energy ambitions but also fosters local economic development.

The Saudi government’s commitment to energy transition initiatives is commendable, and Nextracker is proud to contribute to this vision.
