Empowering Solar Success: Pete Wheale’s Expedition with Nextracker in Australia

I love it when a plan comes together! And that’s what happened when Peter Wheale, Nextracker Inc. General Manager Australia, Southeast Asia, and New Zealand, moved down under in 2016 from our California HQ to support the growth of the utility scale and DG solar market. 6 GW and 110 projects later, Pete’s team has grown significantly. An example project award last quarter is Stubbo Solar in NSW, at over 500 MW and leveraging our proven terrain-following XTR tracker (which has been deployed since 2018).

While his team, market, and our technology suite has grown significantly, one thing has stayed the same: total focus on customer success. Customers trust Pete, because he works tirelessly to solve their needs. That’s the very simple secret to why Pete, and Nextracker, has been successful.
